Jesus died on that cross, knowing that one day, we would be here. That we would still sin.
Maybe this week, even if you don’t have a TV, you could find an inspiring playlist. And in those times where you are tempted to tune out the world, you could instead turn in to God. He’s the only one who can truly offer us that peace we’re seeking anyways.
That little nudge is a chance. It’s a gift that He’s giving you to reach out to someone else. To feel connected. And maybe even to plant a seed that He will grow into beautiful, bountiful fruit.
I will purpose to turn off the words that are instilling fear and hopelessness. I will turn to the words and presence of Him to find my peace. I will listen to music loud enough to drown out the words of doubt. And I will give my smile to each person I pass.
